THE HISTORY

A visionary idea
born in Brianza in the 1990s.

Primacassa was born from the intuition of Primo Fumagalli, a Brianza entrepreneur who imagined a new way of looking at the end: no longer a taboo, but a gesture of awareness, form and style.

In a context dominated by standardized and anonymous objects, the project introduced for the first time a different approach, combining craftsmanship, design and visual culture. Today Primacassa returns as a contemporary project, giving new form to that vision and bringing back to the center identity, choice and the possibility of a personal aesthetic.

In the 1990s, the meeting with designer Vittorio Prato, trained alongside some of the leading figures of Italian design, gave shape to the intuition of Primacassa. Thus were born author pieces, in which proportion, material and elegance enter for the first time into a field that had remained unchanged for decades. Today those projects are brought back to light and reinterpreted through a contemporary perspective, maintaining their original strength.
